A realistic prototype of an eco-friendly solar-powered hand-made balsa wood ferry-boat powered by a CIGS flexible solar panel, with electricity storage in a supercapacitor-bank. For movement, the prototype uses no batteries, in an attempt to reduce environmental degradation due to toxic materials in discarded batteries.
Solar Supercap Ferry Boat (Bamboo)
A completely environmentally friendly solar-powered handmade boat prototype, made with compressed bamboo and betel-leaf composite, with no wood used in the body. Bamboo and betel leaves are both naturally renewable resources unlike wood. The boat runs on a solar-powered supercapacitor bank with no battery usage, to reduce environmental toxicity.
