Solar Powered
Nerve Stimulator (TENS)

This demostration shows a Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stim-ulator working on solar power supplied by a 6 volt s. When the switch is set on, the voltage between the skin-contacts jumps to an undulating 22.4 volt with a small current which can stimulate the nerves at the region of a bodily injury where the skin-contacts are to be placed, thereby reducing pain. This is a very low-cost replica of high-end, expensive therpautic models, which does not need any AC electricity for its operation.
